Yankees Recall Carlos Carrasco

LOS ANGELES — The Yankees' bullpen has been used extensively—and effectively—over the past two days in Los Angeles. Manager Aaron Boone hinted at a potential bullpen move during his postgame press conference on Saturday night.

On Sunday, the team announced the addition of right-hander Carlos Carrasco has been recalled from AAA Scranton. Carrasco spent time as a part of the Yankees rotation earlier this season, being DFA’ed about a month ago. Carrasco posted a 2-2 record with a 5.91 ERA in seven starts and one relief appearance.

RHP Yerry De Los Santos was optioned to AAA Scranton as the corresponding move.
