"Prepair, Compete, Win", was exactly what the Yankees did to beat Pittsburgh
Takeaways from Today's game against the Pirates
Pittsburg, PA — The Yankees headed to Pittsburgh looking to beat up on the struggling Pirates.
⚾️ Final Score: 9-4 NYY
WP: Max Fried (1-0) 2.61
LP: Keller (1-1) 7.45
📰 The bottom of the lineup was productive in driving in runs, aided by a strong outing by Max Fried. Oh, and Judge homered again because of course he did.
📊 Record: 5-2
📈 Streak: W2
🗓️ : Saturday at PIT (Stroman vs. Falter)
Max Fried delt against the Pirates, only giving up 1

The Yankee lineup took it from there, with the bottom of the lineup performing especially.
Fried also had this great Pickoff:

I also noticed that there were a lot of runs scored with 2 outs today, which was cool to see. Jasson Dominguez had a 2 hit game and Oswaldo Cabrera and Anthony Volpe both had 3-hit games.
As I mentioned above, Judge homered, again. His 321st career HR in his 1,000th game played. No matter how many times I watch him, he STILL continues to impress me. Aaron Boone in his post game was asked if he believes Judge will be a Hall of Famer, and he said:
“No Brainer”
When Judge was asked about his performance through his 1,000 career games , he said:
“ It's great praise, but I live in the present. You know, we've got things to do. We've got a lot of work to do, so we'll talk about that in a couple of years.”
The Yankee Bullpen continues to have holes, as Fernando Cruz gave up a 3-run HR to Ke’Bryan Hays to make things a little closer, but Boone went to his best in the 9th inning and he showed up.

I will close by mentioning that the Yankees have not had an Error since their 5-error game on Saturday.
