How would you grade the Yankees Offseason so far?

As we sit here a little less than a month away from Spring Training, the Yankees Offseason is beginning to rap up. Now, while I think the Yankees are not done, this seres as more of a summary of acquisitions. Here are some of the notable acquisitions:

  • LHP Max Fried
  • OF/1B Cody Bellinger
  • 1B Paul Goldschmidt
  • 1B Dom Smith
  • RP Devin Williams
  • RP Fernando Cruze
  • C Alex Jackson

So far, this is a solid B offseason. There is still a lot to do. The Yanks need at least 1 Lefty Reliever and a 3rd Basemen.

Now, I am hearing that the Yankees are closing in on a deal with Lefty Tim Hill, but they are waiting to move Stroman’s money. My opinion, they will move Stro’s money for an infielder (I think Arenado or Arráez) and then sign Hill. They could also just go out and sign Ha-Seong Kim who would solve the leadoff issue (hearing things on this). If those moves do happen, then this could be an A- or A offseason for the Yankees.

Soto’s departure hurt, but add a 2b/3b and a lefty to an already good team, and the Yankees have a clear path to the World Series in the AL, and in the World Series, ANYTHING can happen. Let’s go win 28!!
